September is National Alcohol and Drug Addiction Recovery Month. For more information go to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Center for Substance Abuse Treatment at www.samhsa.gov.

October is National Prescription Drug Lock-Up month. More information will be posted soon. The Bryan County Drug Free Coalition will be giving away free prescription drug lock boxes at drawing throughout the month at local pharmacies and meetings.

Red Ribbon Week will be celebrated during October 24-31, 2010. Watch for information and activities at schools, businesses, agencies and some ways that you can become involved.
